This is a charming boutique style hotel with a beautiful breakfast room and delicious food. Location is great! Our room had a balcony that looked out to the sea. Staff is English speaking and very helpful.

The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly, hotel was clean and well kept, breakfast was good, and a perfect base for travelling the Amalfi Coast. Parking is availabel across the road at an extra cost (we were charged 20 euro per day by the Carpark operators). Definetely recommend this hotel.

It's been almost 11 years since my husband and I stayed at La Bougainville during a great three weeks in Italy. Positano was absolutely my favorite city, and periodically, I check on La Bougainville to see if this jewel of a hotel is still open and ready for my eventual return. It looks lovelier than ever, as does the website! My fondest memories of this trip were sitting on the balcony at La Bougainville, enjoying a bottle of wine and relaxing in the warm sun. Viva La Bougainville!

Your hotel is so beautiful, super-clean, and in an awesome location! Your recommendations for beaches, restaurants, and sights to see were all perfect.

If we ever have the opportunity to come back to Positano, we will definitely be staying at Hotel La Bougainville.

From the moment we e-mailed Simon and Marella we knew this was the place we wanted to stay during our stay in Positano. The response from e-mail was always quick and helpful. Simon arranged our English speaking driver to meet us at the airport and the excellent service never faltered. Our arrival was warm and friendly, the room was clean and bright, and all the staff were accommodating and friendly. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel which included breakfast on the terrace facing the sea. The rates were very reasonable. This place is defintely a hidden gem that glistened!

This hotel has been beautifully renovated, it is charming and should be on top of any hotel in Positano, It is most central and has (if wanted) rooms with a view. I will definitely return.

The hotel is in a perfect location right in the heart with all the shops. Located in the center of Positano, with easy walking access to the beach (5 minutes on walk, few stairs), to the internal Positano orange buses, and the external S.I.T.A. buses to go along the Amalfi & Sorrento Coastlines.
The enjoyment of our staying in Positano was magnified by our accomodation at the Hotel Bougainville under the careful management of Mrs MARELLA.
The breakfasts were good and we found that the cappucinos during breakfast were the best of Positano!
MARELLA is really great, speaking good english and willing to answer you about all questions on the local area.
Mrs MARELLA was completely charming and she helped us with all our transportation requests. A MUST DO in our opinion, MARELLA booked a wonderful boat tour to CAPRI with tour operator CASSIOPEA-POSITANO, which is a definite must - the best boat-trip of our entire tour of Italy... it was incredibly beautiful.
We look forward to coming back to Positano for one of next trip and for sure we will be staying again at the Bougainville.
