un soggiorno romantico non poteva non avvenire in un luogo incantato come Positano e la bougainville è stata la ciliegina sulla torta grazie a tutti per aver reso indimenticabile il nostro 10 anniversario. Grazie ancora.

My Best Girlfriend and I stayed here during our week on the Amalfi- Positano was our favourite spot b/c of our great hotel! The hotel has just been taken over by new owners and they made our stay perfect! The rooms are clean and fresh with nice bathrooms. We woke up to a yummy breakfast. However the stand out asset to this hotel are the hosts. They helped us with washing our clothes, giving us advice on where to go, booked another hotel for us in Rome and sent my lonely plant book back to London which I accidently left in the room. The hotel is in a perfect location right in the heart with all the shops and a short walk to the beach. Would definately stay here again- Great value for money, Great Hosts!!

Our honeymoon trip to Italy began in the exquisitely romantic, beautiful, scenic and tranquil small town of Positano. The enjoyment of our stay was magnified by our accomodations at the Hotel Bougainville under the careful management of Simon and Marella. Both hosts went out of their way to make our stay in Positano a joyful and memorable one with their care for us as guests. Simon was right on with each of his recommendations including local restaurants, towns, and transport to our next destination (Rome). He even went out of his way to help us get tickets to a soccer game in Naples! Naples won, however we are not sure if Simon swung that one too! haha! Loaning us wine glasses and a bottle opener was a nice added touch, too.
The hotel was very clean. Our balcony view was wonderful. The breakfasts were good and my wife and I found that the cappucinos during breakfast were the best out of Positano, Naples and Rome!
We look forward to coming back to Positano for one of our anniverseries and will be staying at the Bougainville for sure.

Very nice small place. Simon (the son of the owners) was extremely attentive, courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, and informative. The hotel is located in the center of Positano, with easy walking access to the beach, the internal Positano bus, and the external bus to go to the rest of the Amalfi coast. We had a very clean room facing the street, with a good view of the sea. and a nice balcony with chairs. Highly recommended. We would stay here again if given a chance to visit Positano again.

The stay was absolutely incredible. This is a family-run hotel, and the staff were the friendliest and most accommodating we have ever experienced at a hotel. My wife and I do a lot of travelling, and we have never been so surprised by the friendliness and helpfulness of staff at a hotel. The rooms were very clean, quiet and cool and the view from the delux room was great.

Very good location, only five minutes from the beach! And the staff is the kindest and most friendly ever. It has a small balcony with view and it was fabulous.

We found the staff to be of the highest caliber and quite courteous and extraordinarily helpful with all manner of questions: how to get to near and far locations, where best to eat, shop, relax, etc. Wonderful staff.

Myself and partner had a fab stay at La Bougainville. The were excellent and very, very helpful, we are getting married in Positano next year and I would recommend the Hotel to any of our guests.

Unseasonal torrential rain for two days made Positano very difficult to enjoy. The relatively short glimpse of Positano we got will ensure we return again. Hotel was excellent and staff more than accommodating.
