A beautiful hotel, with lovely atmosphere and the most helpful, kind staff. We enjoyed out stay and felt at home. Would definitely go back and stay and highly recomend the Hotel Bougainville.

Se avete intenzione di trascorrere un weekend romantico oppure una settimana al mare questo piccolo gioiello è ciò che fa per voi. L'ho scoperto qualche anno fa e ne sono rimasta entusiasta. L'hotel è piccolo ma molto curato soprattutto nelle zone comuni. Le camere sono tutte dotate di bagno con doccia, kit di cortesia, tv schermo piatto e mini bar.
Io questa volta ho optato per una camera standard, la quale ha una piccola finestra alta che affaccia sul cortile ma per chi pernotta più di una notte consiglio la camera superior o quella con vista mare. La colazione, inclusa nel prezzo, viene preparata in una deliziosa saletta antistante la hall; troverete torte dolci e salate, cereali, marmellate, cornetti ed una gentile signora che vi preparerà thè, cappuccino o caffè.
Uno dei punti di forze dell'hotel è sicuramente la posizione all'inizio di Via Cristoforo Colombo e quindi a pochissimi passi dal cuore di Positano, a 50 mt dalla fermata del bus interno. Per chi decidesse di arrivare in macchina a meno di 100mt ci sono due parcheggi.

Hotel molto carino, pulito, in eccellente posizione, personale molto cortese e competente. La signora Marella una persona squisita. La Costiera Amalfitana bellissima, Positano incantevole, vacanza indimenticabile....

Hotel Bougainville is an excellent choice because of its location: nearest to Piazza dei Mulini (the center of town). I arrived late at night and from the Sita Bus Stop, I just needed to walk down and voila, it was there after a few minutes of walking. It was so easy to spot! (Mind you, none of those infamous steps you normally have to go through to access some of the places there.) Finding your hotel after a long, tiring day of public transport transfers (plane, train, bus) is the last thing you would want to worry yourself with. They have new and clean bathrooms and a charming set of toiletries for your stay. I love the fact that they have good airconditioning as temperatures would rise to 30 degrees in August. It's a great place to recuperate after a long day of exploring and for getting refreshed and ready for your dinner by the sea (less than 5 minutes to get there). I stayed there solo for 89 euro, I'm sure it would be more affordable if you were to split the cost of a twin sharing room with a friend.

A great little hotel clinging onto the hills of Positano overlooking the beautiful Mediterranean! The owner, Marella, runs this pretty little hotel, established 50 years ago by her grandfather . She is very helpful with the "hows and wheres" of the Amalfi coast. Rooms exceptionally clean and neat with wonderful new showers. We loved this little spot on the hill, as I'm sure you will!

Your rooms are lovely, and we so appreciated your guidance and help with everything - from boats up the coast Amalfi to restaurants to visit. We will long remember our meal at Sirocco. Our first time to Italy (Positano) and this hotel made the experience even better. We were only able to stay here for about 2 days (also traveled to Rome and Florence).
This hotel was extremely accomodating. Not only were we surprised by a free upgrade to a room with a view of the ocean/hills, the staff was extremely friendly and courteous. The breakfast was delicious. The best cappacinos in all of Italy :)
We regretted that we didn't plan to stay longer. The hotel is in the heart of Positano and you can walk to the beach from the hotel. You can actually walk every where around Positano from this hotel.
We loved it and are dying to go back.
The hotel was very very clean and comfortable :)

The Hotel Bougainville is a small family run Hotel and as a result of this you get a very personnel friendly service and a warm smile every day. Simon (one of the owners) always had time to talk to us about our plans for the day and would offer advice about where to go and where not to go, good local advice is invaluable. We had originally planned to stay for one night and travel on to the South for a week (this was a disaster) and luckily for they had a room free, we stayed in the South for 1 night and drove back to Positano the next day. Where we were greeted with a warm smile and a feeling of coming home.
When we re-visit Positano we will be staying again at the Hotel Bougainville and we would like to thank them for making our holiday a memorable one.
