A friendly, clean, beautiful hotel with the same view but 1/3rd the price of the "name" Positano hotels. The owners & staff bend over backwards to be helpful and know EVERYTHING about the Amalfi coast, etc. English is spoken as well as other major European languages.We have been going here for 15+ years and its always been a fantastic experience.

This is the BEST BUY in Positano.

Well positioned in Positano
My husband and I stayed 5 nights at the beginning of May. The room was all we needed - very clean and bright, comfy bed, great shower. Would have liked tea making facilities, but the staff were more than happy to boil the kettle for us in the kitchen off the breakfast room.
While on the subject of staff, they were very friendly, helpful and gave us some great restaurant tips and even organized for us to be picked up and taken to a lovely place way up in the hills.
Our room had a balcony with a pretty view of the houses on the hillside and glimpse of the sea. Only downside was a little road noise. Not a problem inside though.
Breakfast was good, with something a little different every day.
The hotel was really centrally located (there's a carpark across the road which will discount - but still 20 euros a day!) and we were very happy with our stay.

My husband and I stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed the lovely rooms, with the great balconies overlooking Positano. My favorite memory of our trip to Italy!

I traveled to the Amalfi Coast with my 21-year old daughter. Hotel Bougainville was the perfect spot for us - great location, clean and quaint. I recommend to anyone visiting Positano that wants an affordable and accommodating place to stay!

ottima posizione,sulla strada principale con possibilità di lasciare l'auto nel parcheggio di fronte (a pagamento). ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo camere pulite. unico difetto è che la camera standard non possiede balcone.
